Home is where YOU are.

Home is such a funny state of mind. It's the place you physically go to after work/school. It's the place to grew up. It's the home your parents live in. It's a city you travel to. It's sitting in the car with your husband and puppy. In the end it makes sense when people say home is where the heart. On memorial day weekend home was standing in the airport with Spencer.
I'm sure every mom feels like this the moment she sees her son after two years. It was so great to see him walking toward us. I might have got a little teary eyed myself.

Hatch kids together again after two years. Look at sneaky Matt now taking the lead in height.

Check that out. All three boys back from California, Brazil and Mongolia. Spencer left the tallest and came back the shortest! Ah!

Spencer gave a great homecoming talk about the worth of souls. All these souls are pretty precious to us! Thanks for coming and celebrating AZ Hatches.

We tried to give my mom a family photo. The dogs aren't cooperating but hey we are pretty good looking.

It was so fun to spend the weekend with Spencer and the family. Catching up and getting back into our family grooves was so natural, it's amazing what home does. We enjoyed hearing about Brazil, having Spencer explain a couple of the beautiful pictures he would send home, share stories about members, drinking Mate (okay I did it because he was just so excited to share it), and lets not forget updating Spencer's wardrobe. It was fun being his personal stylist again. Love ya Spencer.
